Terry Hagan talks about how the Sandon Point Surf Life Saving Club was formed in the 1960s. The club joined with the local Board Riders Club to teach surf skills, which is one of its strengths. Terry was named Australian Lifeguard of the Year in 2008 and has performed many rescues, with a record of no drownings.
