Wollongong City Libraries' Illawarra Stories

Norma Todd

Norma Todd had many jobs that utilised her typing skills but also did other work, which included being a dance instructor. She was employed in Wollongong and Sydney, in addition to spending three years working in Edinburgh and getting to know her father’s family, which influenced her approach to travel. One of Norma’s most significant memories is that of being part of the crowd at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
