Uncle Kev Butler is a respected Aboriginal Elder within the Illawarra. He is a Gumbaynggirr man who was born in Nambucca Heads and has lived in the Illawarra area for thirty years. Uncle Kev works as an Aboriginal Education Assistant at various schools in the Illawarra and is an award-winning artist whose murals can be found in many schools in the area. His artworks are his legacy for future generations and constitute his personal step towards reconciliation.
