‘Out in Wollongong’ expands the visual and audio record of stories and experiences of LGBTQIA+ people in the region. A scanning day was held in February 2026 and people shared their images which have been added to the library’s Illawarra Images collection. Individuals were invited to participate in oral history interviews or share their written memories.
