Aunty Sharralyn Robinson (Aunty Shas)

Aunty Sharralyn Robinson (Aunty Shas) is a local Aboriginal Elder born and raised in Dharawal Country. Aunty Shas is a Kamilaroi – Yuin Woman. She shares the story of her life living in Dapto as a child and living and working in the Wollongong area through the years. Aunty Shas has extensive experience working with and for the Aboriginal community in the Illawarra. She has been awarded with various awards including a NSW woman of the year nomination, the Aunty Mary Award in 2013, Deadly Achievement Award in 2019 to recognise the contribution she has made to the community.
