Jane Taylor

In 1980, Jane Taylor organised the first Grandparents Day in Australia at Cringila Public School. She was a founding member of Wollongong Women’s Centre, a NSW Teachers Federation delegate to the South Coast Labour Council and worked closely with Merv Nixon as a member of the SCLC Peace Committee. She enjoys living in a secluded part of Coledale, has been active in many aspects of community life, and was involved in the battle to retain camping at Coledale Beach.
