Dave Beswick taught at Coledale Primary School, Bulli High School and TAFE, and has been a convener of the Northern Illawarra Residents Action Group. He has been involved in many campaigns: to improve teaching and student conditions, preserve green space, commemorate local identities and resist inappropriate development of the northern suburbs. Having grown up with deaf parents, Dave is committed to and involved with the deaf community.
