Arthur
Arthur has been coming to the Warrawong community centre for around 17 years. He has volunteered with community lunches over the years. His favourite memory is seeing ACDC play here at the Warrawong Community Centre.

Peter J
Peter started volunteering at the Warrawong Community centre 12 years ago for a few years and has recently come back again to volunteer. Peter says Warrawong Community Centre brings people together; it offers range of services and he enjoyed the festivals, cultural dances and food.

Roger has come to the Warrawong Community Centre for 23 years to get a free feed and comes sometimes to the men’s group. He says things have slowed down and in the old days there was lots of things on before covid.

Cassandra has been in the area for 3 or 4 weeks and has appreciated coming to the Warrawong Community Centre to get some lunch and some clothing that is made available.

Ross has been coming to the Warrawong community centre to have lunch and to socialise and meet people and have a yarn. He says its a place where he can come and get something to eat and not feel pressured or have any dramas with anybody.

Aaron feels the Warrawong Community Centre is a lifesaver with the free meals. He also likes the computer access and help with paperwork. Arron says the Christmas celebrations and lunch are wonderful and “If they can’t help me, they know who can”.
