Lyn Haynes began her involvement with the Country Women’s Association at the age of nineteen. She re-joined in 2011 at the Keiraville Branch and has since held various positions including treasurer, handicraft officer, secretary, and branch president. She has also been involved at the ten-branch lllawarra Group level as an executive committee member and secretary. Lyn speaks of the many projects in which the CWA is involved and of how the organisation helps the local community and raises funds for and awareness of issues such as domestic violence, agriculture, and the environment.
