Les Dion is the second generation of the Dion Family to run the Dion’s Bus Company located in Fairy Meadow, he has been in the business for 33 years and the company will turn 100 next year. He speaks of his life growing up in the Wollongong area and the history of the Dion’s Bus Company. His father and uncles originally ran the Dion’s bus company driving many locals around. Les is proud of the history of the company and explains how things have changed over the years, he also describes the physical changes to the Bus depot, Wilson Street and surrounding roads.
