Margaret Perrott is a doctor who has been involved in the peace movement for 40 years. When she came back to live in Wollongong around 1984 after living in Europe, she became involved with Medical Association for the Prevention of War. Her ties to the peace movement date back to this time, joining a Hiroshima Day march and subsequently being invited to one of the first meetings of the Nuclear Disarmament Party. She is currently Vice President of the South Coast May Day committee.
