Barry Adams has held numerous executive positions within the Bulli Sea Lions Winter Swimming Club. He talks about the inception and traditions of the Bulli Brass Monkeys / Bulli Sea Lions in the early 1960’s. Barry describes the Bulli rock pool, how it has changed over the years, and its problems with sand accumulation. He also recounts the story of how women were first admitted to the club in 1983 in addition to discussing the wider experiences of women gaining recognition within the winter swimming clubs of Australia.
