Bob Marshall visited Bulgo from 1936 as a 7 year old until his 80s. He remembers building huts and carrying materials and equipment down the steep path. He also carried his children down and up as babies. He helped carry out bodies after the deaths of three adults at different times. Bob enjoyed fishing, swimming and crabbing and has seen huts develop from simple shacks to homely cabins with solar power.
