Ken Geary

Ken Geary moved to Wollongong from Grafton at the age of six. He enjoyed his time at school and his employment in various industries, including as a Foreman Stevedore. Ken shares his memories of the Wollongong of yesteryear, describing central Wollongong and Keira Street from 1939 onwards, naming shops and who owned them, along with memories of the people who lived here.
