Ron Mather is a people person. Following a career as a carpenter and TAFE teacher, he has continued to volunteer in the community. Ron has been a voluntary patient for the University of Wollongong medical school, a welcomer at the Royal Easter Show and Sydney Olympic Games, and Santa for local preschools and schools. He is the poster person for the Old Boy’s Club held at Wollongong City Libraries.
