Joseph Edward Smith (Joe) was involved in the establishment of the Illawarra Sports Council and tells the story of the evolution of several infrastructural improvements in Wollongong, such as the Beaton Park Sports Complex and Bellambi boat harbour. Joe passed away in November 2016.
